Dr. Maqbool Hassan holds a Doctorate in Islamic Studies with a specialization in Islamic Law from the University of Karachi. He is also a qualified expert in Islamic Jurisprudence (سَنَدِ اختصاصی فی الاصولِ فقہ) from the Shariah Academy, International Islamic University, Islamabad.
With over 25 years of experience in teaching, educational management, teacher training, and research, Dr. Hassan has made significant contributions to academia. To date, he has published 33 research articles in reputable national and international journals.
Dr. Hassan has actively participated in numerous workshops, seminars, and conferences and has extensive teaching experience, ranging from the primary level to university education. He is frequently invited as a guest speaker at prestigious institutions.
As a prolific author, he has written 14 books and has held key academic leadership roles. Over the course of his career, he has served as a Faculty Member and Vice-Principal at Bahria College Karsaz, Karachi, as well as the Director of Education at JTQ Pakistan Head Office, Karachi.
Dr. Hassan is also the Founder & Editor of Al-Urooj Research Journal (العروج مجلہ تحقیق), an esteemed annual research publication. Currently, he is associated with Bahria University Karachi Campus as an Assistant Professor of Islamic Studies.
Previously, he was associated with NED University of Engineering & Technology (NED UET) Karachi and BBSU Lyari Karachi as an Adjunct Professor (Visiting Faculty).
In addition to his academic engagements, Dr. Maqbool Hassan is the Founder & Executive Director of the Zulekha International Institute of Research and Training (ZIIRT), Karachi, Pakistan. Through ZIIRT, he continues to drive excellence in research, training, and education.
